Puppy Delivery Options
for Your Adoption Day

Although we always love when families can pick up their puppies from our Partner Homes, we certainly understand that there may be circumstances that make this especially challenging or even impossible for you.

For your convenience we are happy to provide our affordable Delivery Services. We have several options to help your puppy arrive home safely.

It is only very rarely that we are not able to fulfill a request for a delivery. Please be aware that it can be a little challenging to fulfill all our delivery requests on holiday weekends.

If you do choose to utilize one of our Delivery Services, we want to help ensure that your experience with your new puppy is a great one! Before arranging your delivery there are several things you may need to consider.

  • Finalizing Payment on Adoption Day

In regards to the payment of the final balance, Cash or Certified Check is our preference. You can hand final balance payment directly to your Puppy Courier or Flight Nanny on Adoption Day.

  • Differentiating Between a Pick-up and a Delivery

The full pick-up experience is made complete by an opportunity to converse with the Partner Home. Typically a pick-up appointment is about 20-30 minutes.

Please note that for a delivery, our Puppy Couriers will likely have been driving long distances so they will need to get back on the road and head home. A delivery is not a lengthy process like a pick-up experience in the Partner Home. You can allow about 10 minutes for a Puppy Courier to meet you and introduce your puppy to you.

We encourage you to consider tipping your Puppy Courier if he/she does a particularly good job.

  • Delivery Options

    1. Regular Ground Delivery

Available for puppies over 5 pounds at their final vet check anywhere in the contiguous U.S.*

We are thrilled to offer ground delivery to anywhere in the contiguous U.S. for our larger puppies. Please see the above map for pricing based on your location. Of course, the quickest way for you to adopt your puppy is for you to make the travel arrangements yourself and come to your puppy’s home on your scheduled Adoption Day. We know this just isn’t possible for all families, so we are excited to offer our ground delivery option.

Ground delivery is typically completed 1-10 days from your puppy’s scheduled Adoption Day depending on your location. Our Delivery Coordinator is working hard to coordinate several puppy deliveries into one trip with qualified and experienced Puppy Couriers, and this just takes time to do well.

Rest assured that your puppy will be well cared for in the meantime and that we will work to deliver your puppy to you just as soon as we can.

We typically deliver several puppies in the same area of the country in one delivery trip, so we’ll bring your puppy to your door. Because multiple families are involved in each delivery trip, we apologize that we’re just not able to coordinate meeting half-way.

      • Multiple Pups: If you have more than one pup delivered by our Ground Delivery Services (perhaps you are adopting two puppies or other friends or family are adopting pups from the same litter), the delivery fee is $200 each after the total delivery charge for the first puppy.

    2. Tiny Pup Ground Delivery

Available for Tiny Pups who weigh 5 pounds or less at their final vet check being delivered within a 400-mile radius of their pick-up location.

Our Tiny Pups are available only around our Greenville, SC, locations.

Recently we have added several precious smaller breeds to our family network we call our Tiny Pups. These are pups who weigh 5 pounds or less at their final vet check before Adoption Day.

We are firmly committed to the health and safety of our puppies and as you know stand behind them with an excellent health guarantee. From our experience with these small puppies, overly long ground trips – even with the best of care given by our Puppy Couriers – are not in a Tiny Pup’s best interest.

Therefore, we have limited the distance our Tiny Pups may travel by ground. If you live within a 400 mile radius of your puppy’s pick-up location, our excellent Puppy Couriers will be glad to deliver your Tiny Pup to you. Please see the above map for the cost based on your location.

      • Multiple Pups: If you have more than one pup delivered by our Ground Delivery Services (perhaps you are adopting two puppies or other friends or family are adopting pups from the same litter), the delivery fee is $200 each after the total delivery charge for the first puppy.

    3. Tiny Pup Flight Nanny Service

ONLY available for pups flying from SC

Available for Tiny Pups who weigh 5 pounds or less at their final vet check being delivered farther than a 400-mile radius of their pick-up location.

If you live farther than 400 miles away from your puppy’s pick-up location, you can make your own travel arrangements to pick up your Tiny Pup at your puppy’s home, or you can hire our Flight Nanny Service. See the above map for the price based on your location.

Our Flight Nannies will fly personally with your puppy anywhere in the contiguous U.S. (see above for airports we fly to if you live in Alaska or Hawaii) in the passenger area of the plane to a major airport near you giving your sweet puppy individual attention and excellent care. You will then meet the Flight Nanny at the airport to receive your puppy directly.

If you are adopting two pups at the same time, the Flight Nanny delivery fee “will be full price for the first pup and $300 more for the 2nd pup.” This reduced rate for the 2nd pup only applies as long as both puppies are able to fit comfortably in the same carrier.

      • Larger Pup Flight Nanny: You may be adopting a larger pup (your puppy is over 5 pounds at the final vet-check before Adoption Day) and would like to take advantage of our Puppy Nanny Service. If a Flight Nanny is available and the pup is within the weight limits set by the airlines, this may be possible! Each week we’ll be giving our Tiny Pups priority in scheduling with our Flight Nannies, but if a Flight Nanny is available the week your larger puppy needs to be delivered, we are more than happy to accommodate this for you. The largest size we fly is 12lbs, but we prefer to keep it to 10lbs or less so the pup can fit comfortably in the soft-sided carriers we use. Just ask about Flight Nanny availability when you’re matched to your puppy.

  • Sit Back, Relax and Get Ready!

Any pup adopted from SC has a 6% sales tax, but pups picked up at another location (or delivered outside the state of SC) do not incur the SC sales tax.
